Election Commission to be Open Additional Hours to
Assist Voters for the LPS Special Election

Lincoln - Lancaster County Election Commissioner David Shively announced today that the Lancaster County Election Commissioner's Office will be open additional hours for voter registration and to assist voters with issues regarding their mail-in ballots for the February 11, 2014 Lincoln Public Schools Special Bond Election.

Ballots for the all-mail election were mailed to all registered voters of the School District on Wednesday, January 23rd. If a voter has not received a ballot by Tuesday, January 28th, it mostly likely means that there was an issue with that voter's address and the ballot was probably returned to the Election Commissioner's office as undeliverable. Voters will need to visit the Election Commissioner's office to update their information and receive a new ballot.

The Election Office, which is located at 601 North 46th Street, Lincoln, will be open during the following times during the week of January 27th - 31st:

Monday, January 27th - 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday, January 28th - 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, January 29th - 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Thursday, January 30th - 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Friday, January 31st - 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
