Changes in Child Support

Pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. 43-3345, on Friday, December 21, 2001, the Lancaster County Clerk of the District Court's office began a four-day transfer of certain support payments to the centralized State Disbursement Unit.

After Friday, December 21, 2001, payments for child support, spousal support (when connected to a child support order), medical support/reimbursement, genetic testing, grant reimbursement, foster care, foreign support, and income withholding will be made to:

All payments made on or after December 24, 2001 to the Nebraska Payment Center must include a coupon on a prescribed form or the name of the payor, social security number, county, court case number and name of payee. These payments must be made electronically or by mail as the Nebraska Payment Center does not have walk-in facilities. All questions regarding payments and their receipt should be directed to:

Billing statements, along with coupon(s), will be mailed to the payor on or about the 20th of each month. The statement will show the balance due for the month. Return the coupon with payment to the Nebraska Payment Center. If you have questions regarding your statement or the coupon phone:

For a form to authorize automatic withdrawal, fill-in form or to authorize direct deposit, fill-in form of child support.

Payments for court ordered child care, court costs, fines, attorney fees, spousal support (not in connection with a child support order), maintenance support, and property settlement will still be made to:
