Advisory Committee

Advisory Committee

The Advisory Committee is established for purposes of providing citizen input into the functioning of the Community Mental Health Center; providing education on mental health-related issues affecting the community; providing advocacy for the mentally ill citizens of Lancaster County; and providing advice to the executive director and the Lancaster County Board on issues related to the Community Mental Health Center as requested.

The Advisory Committee also serves as a liaison between the Center and the community. The committee helps assess community mental health needs and resources, and educates the community on mental health issues.

Committee Members:

Individuals nominated shall have their names forwarded to the Lancaster County Board for consideration of appointment to the Advisory Committee by the County Board of Commissioners.

The committee meets at 12:00 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of the month at Midtown Center, 2966 "O" Street.
