Executive Director
Dean Settle, Executive Director, CMHC of Lancaster County has lived in Lincoln since 1989. He has over 40 years of experience in behavioral health administration. His work has included appointments in public, private and nonprofit arenas. He has a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Northern Iowa and additional graduate work at the University of Wisconsin and DePaul University. Mr. Settle worked for Lancaster County from 1989 to 1994, and was appoionted to his position at CMHC in 1999. He has been an accreditation surveyor for CARF since 1973. He is active in civic and professional organizations. He has also worked as a teacher and consultant in the management of human services. He is the founder of Lincoln's Open Studio/Writer's Wordshop for nontraditional visual artists and writers.
