Instructions on Paying Court-Ordered Child Support

The amount of child support to be paid on a regular monthly basis is found in the court order. For your benefit, please keep a copy of your court order, as well as the complaint, and any other legal papers you may receive. 

You may read and review the documents in your file at any time by contacting the Clerk of the District Court office with sufficient notice. 

Required Information

Most court orders for child support require you to provide to the Clerk of the District Court with your: 

  • Address
  • The name of your employer
  • Social security number
  • Telephone number

Changes to Information

Notify the Clerk as soon as possible of any changes.
