- Lancaster County Treasurer, Rachel Garver, is pleased to announce reduced service fees for the Lancaster County Treasurer’s Office in partnership with Grant Street Group, a new provider for credit cards and online payments. Beginning on January 3, 2022, electronic checks for online payments will be free and online credit and debit card service fees will be reduced to 2.19% of the transaction. In-person debit card transactions will have a flat fee of $2.00 and in-person credit card transactions will also be reduced to 2.19%. (Jan 2022)

- If you have moved within Lancaster County recently you can now request to have your address changed on your registration here. (September 2018)
- You can now utilize a shopping cart (My Cart) and add multiple Parcels to the cart and checkout. This is a convenient way to pay if you have multiple parcels as it saves time and you will only incur service fees for the total payment rather than for each parcel. (August 2018)
- Created an email reminder system as another form of notification to Real Estate Taxpayers that will remind them when the tax deadlines are coming up. (March 2018)
- Added a new registration and sales tax estimator on the website to minimize phone calls. (September 2017)
- Enabled phone calls to be answered at our 500 West O Street to lower the wait time on the phone queue at 46th and R St. (August 2017)
- Hired a Technology Support Technician to assist with technical needs as well as seek out technology to improve on efficiencies and security. (July 2017)
- Added outdoor security cameras at 500 West O and 46th and R St. Also upgraded cameras inside by adding recording cameras above counters. (June 2017)
- Renegotiated with U.S. Bank to lower banking fees by rolling interest earning credits from month to month, lowering the monthly bill to minimal fees. (March 2017)
