How to Participate in Public Testimony for Virtual Meetings.
Public testimony will be allowed in person in Room 112 of the County-City Building, 555 S. 10th Street, Lincoln or by videoconference. Those wishing to testify by video must register with the County Clerk’s Office by calling 402-441-7484 or emailing coclerk@lancaster.ne.gov by 3:00 p.m. on the day before the meeting. You will be required to provide your name, phone number, email and the agenda item(s) you wish to address and your position (proponent, opponent, neutral) on the item(s).
Prior to the meeting, you will receive a link via email which will allow you to join the meeting.
Additional information:
- Each speaker is limited to five (5) minutes. Time limits may be extended or reasonably decreased at the discretion of the County Board Chair.
- All documents distributed or displayed during your testimony are a public record and at least one (1) copy must be provided to the County Clerk's Office prior to the conclusion of the meeting.

Board Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the County Board of Commissioners are:
- Administration of several programs established by State law
- Adoption of the County budget
- Care for County property
- Management of County funds
- Setting of tax levies and salaries of elected and appointed County officials
