Members

There are five members on the Commission:

  • One at-large member appointed from the general public by the City and County
  • Two City Council members appointed by the City
  • Two County Commissioners appointed by the County Board

Terms are four years.

Overview

The Public Building Commission (PBC) was created by an interlocal agreement between the City of Lincoln and Lancaster County. Its general purpose is to manage the use of buildings owned by the City and/or County and jointly used by the City and County. The PBC has levy authority to carry out this purpose.
