You will need to visit the Post Office during open window hours to obtain a Postal Box for receiving mail

Utilities

Utility Deposits

Utility deposits of $150 are required for sewer, trash, and water services

Utility Billing

Monthly bills include a $15 trash fee and a $7 sewer charge. Bills sent prior to the 5th of each month and are due on the 15th of each month.

Electric

Electrical service is provided by Norris Public Power. Natural Gas service is Black Hills Energy.

Water

Water meters are read and usage is billed quarterly with your regular utility billing during the months of March, June, September and December.

Payments

Utility payments are due by the 15th of the month. Utility payments can be deposited in the drop slot located in the door of the Village Office.

Late Payments

Payments received after the 15th of the month are considered late. Late charge of 10% will be added to any bill not paid by the 15th.

Disconnect

Utilities will be disconnected if payment is not received by the last day of the month. The reconnect fee is $50 during work hours and $80 for after hours.

Bank Withdrawal

Utility payments may be deducted from your checking account. This applies only to accounts at the Farmers and Merchants Bank in Panama

Budget Billing

Budget Billing is available to all residents. With budget billing you know exactly what your monthly bill is. Your account will be re-evaluated each year in August.  If an adjustment is needed, your new budget amount will be shown on your next statement.
