Access to the office is gained by going through the 575 S 10th Street building, and from there using the skywalk on the second floor.

4. What do I do if I received a letter from your office informing me that I owe child support and you could take action against me?: Contact the Nebraska Child Support Customer Call Center at (402) 441-8715 or (877) 631-9973 (toll free).

5. The custodial parent/caretaker of my child says (s)he does not want me to pay child support. Why am I being asked to pay child support?: If a child receives certain types of public assistance, the Lancaster County Attorney's Office is required by state law to establish an order for child support and medical support against the parent(s) not residing with the child.

6. I have never requested the services of your office, why am I required to cooperate with your office in establishing an order of paternity and/or child support?: If you have accepted public assistance benefits, you may be required to cooperate with our office.
