What offenses are not eligible?

The following offenses are not eligible for the S.T.O.P. Program:

  • CDL Operator's License holder
  • Driving while suspended
  • Flee to avoid arrest
  • Injury accidents
  • Multiple offenses (certain multiple offenses are eligible, call for more information)
  • No insurance
  • No valid driver's license (eligible if renewed)
  • No valid registration (eligible if renewed)
  • Refuse breath or blood test
  • Speed contest
  • Speeding more than 19 miles per hour over the speed limit
  • Willful reckless or reckless driving
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs
  • Leaving the scene of an accident
